Lori DeJong is an artist and visual arts educator. She was born in a small rural town in the northwest corner of Iowa and attended Dordt College where she earned a BA in education and fine art in 2002 and currently serves as an adjunct faculty member. Her body of work ranges from impressionistic views of the Midwest landscape to figurative work focusing primarily on women. She exhibits and sells her paintings locally.
Lori has taught and advocated for arts education in a variety of settings: elementary schools, home-school co-ops, orphanages, and most recently, her own art studio. In 2015, she established “The ImagiNation Studio” aimed at providing vibrant visual arts education for children in local and global communities. Lori lives with her husband and four children in Sioux Center, IA.
